ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Local Public Eatery is in a location that can’t be beat – right across from Kits Beach!  But proximity to the beach means sand, and sand is one of your floor’s greatest enemies – just think of sandpaper!

To keep grit and dirt at bay, we created a custom-size entrance mat in our Kermode premium ‘knob’ scraper matting to fit their existing recessed well.  The Kermode allows for easier cleaning than the old metal mat, and less expensive replacement when it reaches the end of its service life.
