The main difference between Ceramic & Porcelain is that Ceramic has a backing which is normally white or in some cases a red biscuit. The core of Porcelain is the same all the through which means, strength. Another advantage to Porcelain over Ceramic is that if you have any accident with Porcelain and chip the edge, it’s the same color all the way through. With Ceramic you will expose the ‘biscuit’ and a porous edge.
